Rae Mearkle, G.G. (GIA), MA (Cass): As a jeweller, I feel I am more of an artist who uses my training and knowledge of jewellery to explore human inner workings and how art can convey statements. I work not only in small scale (5mm up to 5cm) but also in large scale (1285mm square) to clothing size. All materials and formats used are a means to an end...my concept.
